Starting in 2000, her fiction began to appear in a wide array of horror and erotica publications and e-zines, including Peep Show, DeathGrip, Ophelia's Muse, Fangoria Online, House of Pain, Blood Fetish, Chaotic Order, Brutal Tales and many others.

In February of 2001, her first book publication appeared in the guise of "Broken", co-authored with Hertzan Chimera (aka. Mike Philbin) and Wrath James White.

The following year, her second book, "BoyFistGirlSuck", also co-authored with Hertzan Chimera was published in the United Kingdom by Massacre Publications. The book was billed as one of the most extreme examples of erotic horror fiction ever published, yet despite marketing difficulties due to its adult content, quickly became a #1 best seller at Shocklines.com, one of the leading online sellers of small press horror books and magazines. The title also finished the year as the #5 top seller at Shocklines for the entirety of 2002. Severin and Chimera's story "The Modification of Eli-X" was awarded with the 2003 Tombstone Award for short horror fiction.

Currently, she is hard at work writing two vampire novels: Vampire Red and Vampire Vintage, which should be completed during 2008.
